About the event
Join us Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM beginning June 10th through the end of July at Wyldewood Baptist Church for a fun and meaningful ladies sewing group! Together, we’ll be sewing cheerful pillowcases to donate to Joy Box Foster Closet for children in foster care.
This group is open to both beginners and experienced sewers. If you’ve always wanted to learn to sew, this is a great opportunity to learn for free in a relaxed and encouraging environment. We’ll help beginners learn how to thread their sewing machines, understand basic sewing techniques, and follow a simple pillowcase pattern step-by-step.
Our goal is to create a welcoming space where women can connect, create, and serve the community together in a fun, low-pressure environment.
What to Bring
A sewing machine in working order (we will have a few extras if you don't own one)
Power cord and foot pedal
